More info
The red lights are caused by overheating and cold solder points. The x-clamps cause uneven stress which allows the GPU to lose connection to the mainboard. Also recommended is the talismoon fan which runs much better than the original stock fan and is a great solution to keeping the Xbox alive after the fix
What we do to your xbox?
-acutal solder reflow*
- x-clamp modification
-thermal paste replacment
-12V fan mod (increases speed of fan to keep the system running cooler)
* What makes our repair better is that the system is actually reflown using a BGA rework station. This is the simlar procces that Microsoft uses to repair their consoles. Most if not all repairs (by others) are done by either letting the system over heat (without the fans plugged in) or using a hot air gun. Both methods dont actually reflow the solder instead bend the board (see picture). This works but only temproraly and after a few long gaming sessions the board disconnects from the chip causing 3 red lights again.
*All repairs come with 30 day warranty
Problems the Repair can fix
- 3 red lights on the console itself
- e74 on screen and 1 red light
- No video only audio
-Weired lines (artifacts) on screen
-console freezing
Estimated time
-The time of repairs depend on how many xboxs are currently in for repair. Repairs are treated on first come first serve basis. Most consoles are repaired on Saturday therefor droping of your xbox on Friday is a good idea.
Shipping info

This is an example of a common repair where the board is actually bent to allow the solder to reconnect rather than reflowing the solder
Most 25 dollar repairs result in the above picture.
This is an example of a BGA reflow where the board stays flat and the solder balls are reflowed allowing maximum connectivity.
